 Boat Maintenance Services & Storage

Eastport Yacht Center will help make sure your powerboat or sailboat is ready to hit the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Our 35-ton travel lift makes it easy to haul your boat out for maintenance and repair work, surveys, or a do-it-yourself project. We also offer daily, monthly, and winter storage options. Transparency about Eastport Yacht Center’s services and fees is important to us. We want to make sure you have all of the information available to make the right choice when selecting an Annapolis marina for your boat’s needs.


Full-Service Boat Maintenance

Our 35-ton travel lift makes cleaning, repair and maintenance work, and boat surveys easy. Our highly trained and experienced team of lift operators will safely handle your boat in and out of the water for the services you need completed. All rates, unless noted, are based on length of boat overall (LOA) including swim platform, dinghy davits, outboards, and bowsprits.

Haul Out

Our full-service haul-out includes the round-trip haul and launch, bottom power wash, and block and tarp. The cost of a haul out is dependent on the LOA and ranges from $320 for a 20’ boat to $1,010 for a 55’ boat. Additional fees include a nightly storage rate of $20 or a monthly rate of $510.

Bottom Job

Bottom jobs include power washing and sanding the bottom of the boat with a dustless sander, followed by the application of two coats of bottom paint of your choice. PRO TIP: Depending on variables such as amount of use, type of bottom paint, and water conditions, a bottom job should be completed every other season. The cost of a bottom jobs is dependent on the LOA and ranges from $760 for a 20’ boat to $2,220 for a 55’ boat, plus the cost of paint.

Hull Wash & Wax

A hull wash and wax includes power washing and waxing the sides of your boat (waterline to rub rail). The cost of a hull wash and wax is $23 per foot of LOA.

Hull Compound & Wax

A hull compound and wax restores your boat’s finish and protects it from water and sun. We use a rubbing compound, similar to very fine sandpaper, in the form of a paste. This process removes the oxidized layer in preparation for waxing and restoring shine and protection. Costs for a hull compound and wax vary based on the condition of your boat.

Short Haul & Survey Haul

Our short haul and survey haul service includes the haul, power wash and launch, and a one-hour time frame in the slings. PRO TIP: Many boat owners find that this is the perfect time to change out their zincs and check the condition of their bottom paint. The cost of a survey haul is dependent on the LOA and ranges from $200 for a 20’ boat to $550 for a 55’ boat.

Winter Storage Agreement

General Yard Policies

Eastport Yacht Center offers daily, monthly, and winter land storage for powerboats and sailboats. Winter storage is available between December and March, and we are able to accommodate 38 boats annually. We fill up quickly each year so make sure to book your boat’s storage as early as possible. We recommend making your reservation no later than August. Inquire about winter storage by filling out our service and storage request form.

  • Daily | $20 per day

  • Monthly | $600 per month, increases to $750 per month after 60 days

  • Winter Storage | Ranges from $730 – $1,850 depending on LOA.
    These rates include the haul out, storage through March 31, and launch. Only the haul-out and storage fees are prepaid. The launch fee plus any additional storage fees will be billed prior to launch.


Contractors & On-Site Businesses

On-Site Contractors
Bring Your Own

Eastport Yacht Center has contractors on-site that you can choose to perform work and repairs on your boat. The businesses are unaffiliated with the Eastport Yacht Center marina but are easily available to contact.

If you choose to use a different contractor, they must have insurance on file with our office prior to any work being done. All contractors must sign in daily with the office upon arrival.
